However, for the lucky couple with a zest for open data and a bit more adventurous spirit, we would like to suggest something a little different this valentine’s day.
Why not try an open data themed valentine’s day trek powered by the SF Film Commission’s Film Locations dataset. This dataset collects every location in our fair city used to shoot movies, tv shows, or documentaries (over 1,500 locations!). Combining the data with the wonderful Open Movie Database API and Google Maps API we are able to have a curated list of SF locations featured in romantic movies and shows.
