About This Course

In this introductory course on statistics, participants will learn the theory behind several descriptive statistics and how to apply these statistics in their work. Topics will include: statistical terminology, central tendency measures, examining distributions of data, measures of variability, and more! This course is intended for analysts and managers responsible for delivering public services and who are interested in the following subjects: data analytics, reporting statistics, lean process improvement, and quality/performance management.

Participants must be comfortable in Excel to complete the exercises during the course.
