Clearly there is a need for data regarding street parking.
Would like to see an up to date data set of all the meters in SF. Location, duration of stay (30min etc..), type (green, yellow), restrictions, availability for non-commercial use, cost per minute, max duration, etc...)
The City and County of San Francisco has a new open data site: Data.SFGov.org.
Please follow the link to the site to search, browse and view San Francisco data.

DataSF is a clearinghouse of datasets available from the City & County of San Francisco. Our goal in releasing this site is:
(1) improve access to data
(2) help our community create innovative apps
(3) understand what datasets you'd like to see
(4) get feedback on the quality of our datasets.

It would be nice to have this information in a database format based on address. I think having databases like this and ones for restricted parking, permits, no parkin, etc would be very beneficial as well.
